Mindfulness is living consciously with the intent to tune into your body, mind, and soul while looking upon the present moment with openness and an immense possibility of wonder.

Mindfulness provides a way for you to pause and observe the natural environment around you, your home, relationships, cuisine, and activities, and it gives depth and appreciation to your life.

The sky may be ablaze with color. The sun may be rising in anticipation of a new day, a song bird may greet you in the morning, and a flower may be blooming in the front yard that you’ve not noticed before the moment you see it.

You may encounter a beautiful animal sighting or receive a sign from your loved one that catches your eye and causes you to pause in gratitude and amazement.

Mindfulness can be as simple as observing your surroundings and allowing it to bring a positive feeling or memory to your emotions.

🦋 The Art of Soulful Inspired Living was created a

🦋 The Art of Soulful Inspired Living was created as a personal path to surviving child loss for the second time.

In such a vulnerable state of mind, I wasn’t sure how to go about navigating a healing journey, but I was certain I needed one.

I began by observing and implementing experiences in my life that assisted in releasing the trauma and nourishing my body, heart, and soul in which I was inspired by my daughters in the afterlife, the Soulful Starlights to call Soulful Inspired Adventures, using mindfulness and meditation in nature, creativity, writing, culinary art, and self-care.

In doing so, a process of healing began to restore a sense of purpose in my changed reality.

Each new day, I sought to live consciously with mindful awareness of everything in my life that could provide uplifting comfort and healing in healthy ways.

I began writing my transformational process in my journals as well as all the guidance and inspiration I received from the world beyond to document my experiences.

These journals filled with soulful inspired adventures became an international best selling book, Hi Mom, It’s Me:Hope, Love, and the Afterlife.

In the coming days I will share more on our story and ways The Art of Soulful Inspired Living can offer support to you in your healing journey.

🩶Today, March 6, 2026 is Black Balloon Day in remembrance of those lost to the disease of addiction or are currently struggling from loss due to an overdose.

It is a National & International event to raise awareness of overdose deaths and to support those who have been affected by the loss of a loved one due to addiction.

So many families have been impacted by addiction including our own by the loss of my daughter in 2016.

Drug overdose is the leading cause of accidental death in the US for people under 50. Opioid addiction and fentanyl is driving this epidemic.

🦋 H𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 B𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 S𝗼𝘂𝗹𝘀,

As I grieved the loss of both of my daughters over many years I expressed my emotions in my journal and I found solace there as the words poured from my broken heart onto the page.

During my long grief journey, I discovered meditation to be immensely healing especially when I felt the comfort and compassion that was provided by the spirit realm.

Day by day, year after year, I kept journaling and I kept meditating to ease the devastating pain of child loss.

When I began journaling in a meditative state I was able to receive support and encouragement from my daughters in the afterlife that was loving and kind and opened a doorway into my consciousness of the world between us.

Last year I turned my journals into a best-selling book designed to offer comfort, support and encouragement to others grieving a loss through afterlife communication, intuitive writing, mindfulness, meditation and soulful selfcare.

In this book, I share my genuine experiences in living with loss in creative, mystical and inspiring ways with guidance, exercises, affirmations, meditations, journal prompts and grief reflections.

I share the on-going communication and spirit signs between my daughters, the Soulful Starlights which lifted my grieving spirit from the heaviness of grief to one of shining light, comforted in their love.

For nearly all of my life I have been a grieving mother, having experienced the devastating heartbreak of child loss at a very young age after my second child, Lavender, unexpectedly passed away in my arms as an infant.

Decades later when my daughter, Crystal suddenly left this world my life was turned upside down again, and I struggled to find my way in an unfortunate yet slightly familiar new reality.

Through my connection with my daughters in the afterlife, I was encouraged to discover ways to survive heartbreak and to live out my life in memory of both of my girls.

It is quite beautiful to see the connection between them and how aligned, yet different they are, having never lived on earth at the same time.

Their combined effort to pull me out of the darkness and into the light-filled world where they lived while I resided on earth was life-changing.

Staying connected through signs, messages and meditations has lightened my grief journey and soothed my heart and soul each step of the way.

The amazing thing is that even a simple gesture can have lasting effects of comfort to a heart that is hurting.

There are times in our grief journey when we are called to be more aware of our state of mind and emotions.

As we reflect on how we may be feeling at the time we have the choice of being proactive in allowing ourselves to be comforted in love, light and anything that brings uplifting joy into our world, again. Even for just a moment.

By consciously casting off the heaviness of grief and the depth of sadness we hold it can bring about a feeling of lighter, easier breathing, the ability to take deeper breaths and even exhale more fully.

During this birthday week of mine, I may often remind myself to cast off the sadness that child loss can bring on a special day such as our birthday.

I invite joy to touch my heart and let it shine in new and empowering ways and I send this radiant light out to each of you.

As I was sitting in our former home in the Florida Keys writing the beginnings of what would become Hi Mom, It’s Me, an international best selling book, I was given this quote from my daughter, Crystal in the afterlife.

My dream of becoming a published author has been a long-time one, yet each day I poured my heart and soul onto the page with the intention to offer comfort, support and encouragement to others who have experienced traumatic loss of a child or other loved one.

It is my journey of the healing that transpired after the loss of each of my daughters ten years apart that tells the story of our continued connection.

Through afterlife communication my daughters, the Soulful Starlights guided my grief journey to one of hope, resilience and uplifted living beyond loss.

No matter where you are in your own grief journey, always remember to keep your dreams alive.

I do so, in memory of my daughters, friends and family in spirit who have brought love and understanding into my awareness following their departure from this life to one of peace, light, and radiant joy.

At this time, I am personally beginning to act on my intention of exercising more in the coming year and today was Day 1.

It will take some time to become physically stronger but I am healthy and for that I am grateful and inspired to increase my overall wellbeing.

My grief process has been front and center in my life for many years. At first, grief feels so large it overwhelms every aspect of our lives.

It affects our mood, energy level, and how we spend our time. It can even fluxuate from moment to moment, hour to hour, and day by day, depending on the level of our suffering at the time.

Grief is an ever-evolving process as we re-adjust to a reality we didn’t choose and discover ways to living within it that are comforting, uplifting, and encouraging.

Loss can take an open, loving heart, and just as suddenly as loss can occur, the pain of immense grief can feel as if your heart was shattered into a million pieces that will never heal again.

I am here to tell you that it will.
It will never be the same as it was before your loss, but it can still be beautiful in its new form.

🦋 Hi Beautiful Souls,

Recently I had the opportunity to provide a Soulful Starlight Session for a man who had recently finished reading my book.

His first words to me after reading it were, wow!

He had lived through a great deal of childhood trauma and after reading Hi Mom, It’s Me he was willing to look into the possibility of experiencing deeper healing and connecting with cherished loved ones through a mediumship session with me.

It was a wonderful experience to walk with him through receiving messages from the afterlife that he could use to benefit his present health and wellbeing and to feel supported in doing so.

I’m grateful for his kind words and impressions in this review as he opened up to a more expanded view of life and life after life.
