🦋 BETWEEN TWO WORLDS 🦋

We are taught to treat the ending of life as an absolute, permanent end of a relationship. But when you open yourself up to afterlife communication, you realize that your parenting hasn’t ended—it has just transitioned.

You are allowed to build an ongoing, evolving relationship with your child in spirit. You can talk to them, ask for their guidance, and co-create a new version of your bond that spans across dimensions.

After the loss of my infant daughter, Lavender it took many years of spiritual development and healing to open my heart and expand my consciousness to communicate with her but I knew deep down it was possible.

When my daughter Crystal left this life, I was certain she would contact me to let me know she was alive and well in the afterlife and that’s just what she did within a few days.

Meditation along with journaling provided the doorway or portal through which I began to connect with the other side and communicate with my two daughters, each one beginning with “𝙃𝙞 𝙈𝙤𝙢, 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙈𝙚.”

This book is a collaboration of those conversations with my 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 as they counseled, consoled and comforted their grieving mom in their own words along with stories of a mystical grief journey, signs from the afterlife and guidance on meditation, mindfulness and mediumship.

To anyone sitting in the dark tonight wondering how to survive tomorrow: let your mind expand just a bit. Listen to the quiet spaces. Your child hasn’t stopped loving you, and they haven’t stopped being with you. They are just waiting for you receive the signs they send offering love and hope.

🌸 In my early days of child loss for the second ti

🌸 In my early days of child loss for the second time I wrote this poem expressing the heartbreak and physical aspects of living with traumatic loss.

There is no doubt each of us experiences grief differently, although there are similarities in the physical reactions and symptoms within our bodies.

It’s amazing how widespread the physical symptoms can be, including a feeling of heaviness, chest pain, headaches, fatigue and lack of ability to concentrate at any length.

My personal grief journey has been an immersive experience of soulful, emotional, and creative expression, much like being in process all the time. It’s a form of mindful awareness of my wellbeing and practicing self-care.

At times holistic and medical guidance as well as dedicated self-care that is soothing to you is necessary and helpful to release the symptoms of grief held within your body.

May you receive the support you need from the spirit realm and from knowledgeable sources familiar with grief and the physical, emotional, and cognitive responses to loss that may assist you on this journey to healing the trauma of grief.

🎨 Hi Beautiful Souls,

I’d like to share an 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 that has been rekindled this month as I seek ways to acknowledge my daughter, Crystal on this 10th anniversary into the spirit world.

For several years I was painting and sharing 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙍𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨 in Florida, Colorado, New Mexico and places in between before becoming consumed with publishing and sharing the book I co-wrote with both of my daughters in the afterlife entitled, 𝗛𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝗺, 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗠𝗲: 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

Recently, as I was engaged in a meditative writing session Crystal shared her approval of these painted rocks in her memory stating, “I love it, you always were my rock.”

This re-newed art adventure is filled with reiki infused soulful intentions of kindness in memory of both of my daughters, Crystal and Lavender.

🦋 Dear Beautiful Souls,

As I acknowledge the 10th anniversary of Crystal’s departure to spirit this month I am immensely grateful for her continued presence in my life through signs, messages and dreams that carry me forward in love, light and purpose.

This was the 1st message I received from her very soon after she arrived in the afterlife as I sought relief from the crushing pain of sorrow.

It came loud, vibrant and clear and was just what I had been asking for in my prayers and I was ecstatic.

My desire to hear from her was immense and she followed by providing a daily message as I journaled each morning.

As I wrote I could hear her talking in my mind.
The sound of her voice came through exactly as she was in life, with all the same intensity, language, and personality.

The only difference I could sense was that she was now the one offering immense love, compassion, and nurturing to me, as if the roles were reversed.

Thank you, Crystal and your sister, Lavender for your immense love and encouragement to heal my broken heart from the afterlife.

🌸 At certain times, life gives you a variety of em

🌸 At certain times, life gives you a variety of emotions to take in and experience.

Events such as anniversaries, weddings, graduations, and vacations after loss offer poignant times to reflect and feel your loved one’s presence.

There may be sentimental memories that bring a smile to your heart, yet the grief is so intense that it can bring uncontrollable tears as you miss your loved one’s presence so deeply.

I am grateful for the many messages I continue to receive from both of my daughters, The Soulful Starlights in the afterlife which help to soothe my grieving heart and offer support to others living with loss.

This weekend I am acknowledging the 10th anniversary of Crystal’s sudden departure to the world beyond with love overflowing and gratitude for our continued relationship.

🦋 Remembering our sweet girl with her light eyes,

🦋 Remembering our sweet girl with her light eyes, big smile, warm hugs and effervescent personality who left this world for the one beyond ten years ago today, July 10th, a day forever seared into my soul.

My husband & I were enjoying our first days of summer in Crested Butte, Colorado when we received the heartbreaking call from my son that my daughter, Crystal was gone.

It was sudden, final and a crushing loss. An accidental overdose and I was shattered beyond comprehension. How was it even possible to have to let go of another daughter of mine? Life felt so cruel and unsettling.

Her life was not always an easy one and parenting her was a rollercoaster of highs and lows dating back to her traumatic childhood, yet she had an amazing way of lifting-up those around her with her caring empathy, quick response to help out, kind words or a wonderfully prepared meal.

In the years that have followed I have been blessed to be surrounded by love, light and joy from Bob, dear friends and family, my spiritual JOYS circle and to experience many new adventures along with an expanded connection with the spirit world.

I wrote this poem years ago, but today it seemed just as real to share with you as a heartfelt way to remember Crystal who so lovingly with her older sister, Lavender has helped comfort, console and work alongside me in not only experiencing a transformational healing grief journey but also assisting others who have experienced loss in our mystical guidebook, Hi Mom, It’s Me and in our Soulful Starlight Mediumship and Grief Support Sessions.

I can attest it is possible to experience a softer and lighter side of grief with confirmation that life continues on, our souls never die and that we can truly feel the love and compassion from loved ones in the afterlife as we carry them with us, always.

Forever on our mind and in our hearts.

This week marks the 10th anniversary of my daughter, Crystal’s departure to spirit.

In our book, 𝗛𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝗺, 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗠𝗲 I share many messages from her and her sister, Lavender from the afterlife as The Soulful Starlights including this one.

It’s a message we can all use to lighten our sorrow as we grieve our loved ones, give meaning to their lives and still feel close to them.

The love, confirmation and continued presence was expressed throughout this book, giving my life renewed purpose to share our story and to offer S𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙛𝙪𝙡 St𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 S𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 of mediumship and grief guidance to those looking for a message of hope from the other side.

I will be sharing signs from Crystal and Lavender throughout this month of remembrance and National Bereaved Parents Month.

🦋 On this July 1st as the 10th anniversary of my d

🦋 On this July 1st as the 10th anniversary of my daughter Crystal’s adventure into spirit is approaching my heart can feel the weight of this significant passage of time.

In my dreamstate last night I visited with her in a place important to our family and where she once lived in Islamorada, a little island in the Florida Keys.

She and her partner from that time, who is also in spirit, greeted me on the same docks we once stood together.

There were hugs, kisses and happy greetings exchanged between us. I could feel Crystal’s gratitude at seeing me and see her excitement. My heart felt so much love.

I asked if she needed anything, but my presence was all that was necessary in this very special but brief visit.

As the dream ended, I gazed out at the sparkling sea and our boat at the end of the dock with deep longing as I knew I couldn’t stay with her.

Even so a peaceful contentment filled my heart to see her looking so vibrant, happy, and well.

Until we meet again. 🩵

It was my daughter, Crystal’s birthday yesterday on 6/21 and I would like to share a poem that I wrote a few years ago as a tribute to her.

Writing has been my way to share our story and the continued relationship we share through messages from the other side including in our book, Hi Mom, It’s Me:Hope, Love & the Afterlife.

It’s been 11 years since we’ve been together to celebrate her birthday and 10 years next month since her sudden passing.

Last evening, two of our friends showed up with the kindest gesture of this beautiful cake I’ve ever received to celebrate Crystal since her celebration of life.

We listened to reggae music and shared stories about her life which eased my grief on this poignant day.

Her essence fills every day in my life with thoughts, memories and messages of love, compassion and spirit signs of her continued presence.

Sending birthday love and gratitude to my beautiful heart-centered girl who inspires me still, every day.

Wishing you a celebration in heaven that never ends.

🌷This week I am grateful for this beautiful spirit

🌷This week I am grateful for this beautiful spirit sign from my daughter, Crystal as another birthday of hers in heaven is almost here.

Birthdays without our children here to celebrate them are poignant reminders to look for signs of their continued presence in our lives.

That is what helps us to get through devastating loss.

A yellow swallowtail butterfly is a welcome visitor to our Santa Fe garden and a familiar sign from my daughter.

Soon after bringing this flowering plant home I discovered this beautiful sight.

In my book, Hi Mom, It’s Me: Hope, Love, and the Afterlife I share a story called “On Butterfly Wings” about how yellow is a color aligned with signs from Crystal and that a few years ago in this same adobe garden near the sixth anniversary of her passing a butterfly just like this one landed on my hip and gracefully climbed to my shoulder staying for nearly ten minutes.

Spirit signs are comforting and reassuring ways that our loved ones can provide hope and encourage us of their loving presence.

Thank you for gracing my life with your beautiful heart and soul.

🪁 I have carried you with me for many decades and felt your sweet presence through the time, space and distance.

I’m so grateful for the immense love and compassion you have shown to me in unlimited ways.

🪁 You understood how important it was for your mom to know you were alive and well in the afterworld. The peace, and healing this brought was transformational in my grief journey and life.

I acknowledge this day June 15th, when you slipped away at just a few weeks old to live in a more expansive and wondrous realm.

🪁 I trust through the decades you have provided amazing healing to other children as they crossed over into the world where you reside.

I send a heart full of love to you and to your sister, Crystal. Thank you for being there when it was her time to go, I’m certain she felt reassured by your love as I know I certainly did.

🪁 Thank you also for helping me to share our story in Hi Mom, It’s Me: Hope, Love, and the Afterlife along with Crystal. Those few words from each of you were the beginning of our soul-to-soul communications and I pray that our story touches the hearts of our readers in comforting ways.

My childhood and adult life has always been lived on the coast of Florida from east to west, near the southermost point and now central west Florida.

When I think about the times I’ve shared on or near the ocean they have always included wonderful memories with family.

Many of which are now living in the afterworld including my daughter, Crystal who had a passion for the ocean starting with a boat ride at 12 days old. My Dad, being a boater first introduced us all to weekends on the water and throughout my life I’ve always been with someone who loved boating, snorkeling, and living by the sea.

Today, I acknowledge my gratitude for the ocean, its beauty, the shared memories, the healing properties it has brought into my life and all it brings to the world we live in, everyday.

After my daughter Crystal left this world to join her sister, Lavender in the afterlife I lived with a blanket of sadness draped over me that on some days was almost too heavy to carry.

On other days, waves of grief would come crashing upon me so strongly I was overcome with tears, memories, longing and sorrow.

I didn’t know how to live without her. It was a loss that I knew would never go away yet I felt so strongly that our love transcended the space between our two worlds.

As I pleaded for comfort and confirmation of her continued love and life, I received this message in the form of a poem to ease my sorrow and my grief.

You will find it in my book, Hi Mom, It’s Me: Hope, Love, and the Afterlife under the chapter entitled, Life After Child Loss.

Hello Beautiful Souls,

In the early months of grieving over my daughter Crystal I spent alot of time in quiet contemplation.

Meditation, writing and practicing soulful self-care filled each day.

On many of those days all I could do was to sit by the sea looking out at the ocean while letting nature embrace me in healing energy.

I felt closest to Crystal at a place she loved and sought relief from the crushing sorrow from both of my daughters in the afterlife.

One day as I listened I was given these words to comfort and confirm Crystal’s presence alongside me as I wept.

Mindfulness is living consciously with the intent to tune into your body, mind, and soul while looking upon the present moment with openness and an immense possibility of wonder.

Mindfulness provides a way for you to pause and observe the natural environment around you, your home, relationships, cuisine, and activities, and it gives depth and appreciation to your life.

The sky may be ablaze with color. The sun may be rising in anticipation of a new day, a song bird may greet you in the morning, and a flower may be blooming in the front yard that you’ve not noticed before the moment you see it.

You may encounter a beautiful animal sighting or receive a sign from your loved one that catches your eye and causes you to pause in gratitude and amazement.

Mindfulness can be as simple as observing your surroundings and allowing it to bring a positive feeling or memory to your emotions.

Healing truly occurs one-moment-at-a-time with kindness and patience to allow yourself to feel your emotions and make the choice to let them move through you, releasing the heavy ones leaving you feeling calmer, stronger and more resilient.

🦋 The Art of Soulful Inspired Living was created a

🦋 The Art of Soulful Inspired Living was created as a personal path to surviving child loss for the second time.

In such a vulnerable state of mind, I wasn’t sure how to go about navigating a healing journey, but I was certain I needed one.

I began by observing and implementing experiences in my life that assisted in releasing the trauma and nourishing my body, heart, and soul in which I was inspired by my daughters in the afterlife, the Soulful Starlights to call Soulful Inspired Adventures, using mindfulness and meditation in nature, creativity, writing, culinary art, and self-care.

In doing so, a process of healing began to restore a sense of purpose in my changed reality.

Each new day, I sought to live consciously with mindful awareness of everything in my life that could provide uplifting comfort and healing in healthy ways.

I began writing my transformational process in my journals as well as all the guidance and inspiration I received from the world beyond to document my experiences.

These journals filled with soulful inspired adventures became an international best selling book, Hi Mom, It’s Me:Hope, Love, and the Afterlife.

In the coming days I will share more on our story and ways The Art of Soulful Inspired Living can offer support to you in your healing journey.

🩶Today, March 6, 2026 is Black Balloon Day in remembrance of those lost to the disease of addiction or are currently struggling from loss due to an overdose.

It is a National & International event to raise awareness of overdose deaths and to support those who have been affected by the loss of a loved one due to addiction.

So many families have been impacted by addiction including our own by the loss of my daughter in 2016.

Drug overdose is the leading cause of accidental death in the US for people under 50. Opioid addiction and fentanyl is driving this epidemic.

As I grieved the loss of both of my daughters over many years I expressed my emotions in my journal and I found solace there as the words poured from my broken heart onto the page.

During my long grief journey, I discovered meditation to be immensely healing especially when I felt the comfort and compassion that was provided by the spirit realm.

Day by day, year after year, I kept journaling and I kept meditating to ease the devastating pain of child loss.

When I began journaling in a meditative state I was able to receive support and encouragement from my daughters in the afterlife that was loving and kind and opened a doorway into my consciousness of the world between us.

Last year I turned my journals into a best-selling book designed to offer comfort, support and encouragement to others grieving a loss through afterlife communication, intuitive writing, mindfulness, meditation and soulful selfcare.

In this book, I share my genuine experiences in living with loss in creative, mystical and inspiring ways with guidance, exercises, affirmations, meditations, journal prompts and grief reflections.

I share the on-going communication and spirit signs between my daughters, the Soulful Starlights which lifted my grieving spirit from the heaviness of grief to one of shining light, comforted in their love.

For nearly all of my life I have been a grieving mother, having experienced the devastating heartbreak of child loss at a very young age after my second child, Lavender, unexpectedly passed away in my arms as an infant.

Decades later when my daughter, Crystal suddenly left this world my life was turned upside down again, and I struggled to find my way in an unfortunate yet slightly familiar new reality.

Through my connection with my daughters in the afterlife, I was encouraged to discover ways to survive heartbreak and to live out my life in memory of both of my girls.

💗 Dear Beautiful Souls,

One day as I was writing my book, Hi Mom, It’s Me about my grief experience, as I held close my intention to offer hope and support to others I heard these words from the spirit world.

“𝙀𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙝e 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙡.” ~ 𝙉𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙔𝙪𝙨𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙨

When you are grieving and your heart is hurting it can be helpful to mindfully embrace the kind and loving gestures given to you and to observe the simple beauty that can be found in everyday experiences to uplift and comfort you.

I was shown that these occurences are called #soulfulinspiredadventures #heartinspiredadventures and #natureinspiredadventures
