I share these in memory of my daughters in the afterlife who have enhanced my healing journey from traumatic loss by sending uplifting elements of surprise and reassurance to me in signs from the spirit world.
Kindness rocks can have a similar effect of a compassionate and uplifting gift with sweet intentions.
Leaving a kindness rock for others to discover offers the finder a gift of surprise and delight with the added gesture of kindness and love. Additionally, it feels wonderful to create these little gifts as art therapy offering hope and generosity of spirit
Immersing yourself in creativity can be a valuable and enjoyable way to express your emotions while keeping a sense of playfulness in mind. I, myself have gone through many stages of artistic expression always desiring an infusion of color to uplift and energize my body, mind and soul.
At times, it was decorative painting, fused glass design and jewelry, then photography, photo cards and graphic art as well as a continuing writing practice in my journals.
In 2020 during covid isolation I was inspired to paint and share kindness rocks to leave out and give as gifts, and in the last few years even my young grand daughter likes to help me design and give them away. It’s a wonderful creative and thoughtful process we enjoy doing together.
